IT Security
- Signal: Introducing Signal Secure Backups: I probably would have found this more useful when i still used Android & it was still possible to use Signal for all SMS, but still nice that it will be an option.
Hacking \ Pentration Testing
- I picked up The Phantom from Rabbit Labs while at DEFCON & after seeing there was an upgrade to the Ghost ESP firmware, I saw that there were a few other options to flash as well. I was specifically looking to compare Ghost ESP & Bruce firmware:
- Mobile Hacker: Exploring Marauder, Bruce, and Ghost ESP on Cheap Yellow Display
- /r/FlipperZero: Is Ghost esp the new and better wifi deauth app to use?
- Rabbit Labs has a web app you can use to flash different versions: Flasher.site
Meshtastic
- Meshtastic: MQTT | Integrations Overview: Since i don’t have many nodes nearby, I started looking into MQTT to leverage. I was having issues getting it running in Docker, but looks like i was able to set it up in like 10 minutes with HomeAssistant.
- RAK Wireless: WisMesh Basic Device Setup Guide: Just another guide i was looking at if i do end up converting my Nebra Helium Miner to .
Miscellaneous
- 9to5 Google: Rabbit R1 wants a second chance with the new RabbitOS 2 update: Not that i’ve even touched my Rabbit r1 in ages, but we’ll see how the new OS version is.
- I do also want to see about Ubuntu Touch on the r1.
